Neds Betting Features Markets & Betting Features
For betting on racing, Neds is a great option.

They have a huge range of markets for Australian and International racing. They have all the main bet types covered and offer unique bet types as well. These include Best Tote or SP and Mid Tote Place.

The unique part of racing betting at Neds is a Featured Bets selection which aims to find the best bet in a race. In addition, you can view a Speedmap of an upcoming race or read through an extensive Form Guide per race.

Neds have a lot of betting promotions to keep you engaged as they cover both sports and racing. Some of the sports betting promotions include receiving a bonus bet if you bet on a NFL or NBA match. Then Neds will give you a bonus bet on a futures market, for example NFL Super Bowl winner.

While for racing, the same kind of promotions apply. Say you bet on a selected Greyhound race, Neds will provide a bonus bet for the next race. Or you could receive a matched bonus bet from betting on a fixed odds win race. So in the end, Neds provide unique betting promotions and if this is what you’re after in a bookmaker, then Neds is a great choice.

Neds have a mobile app available for download on the App Store for Apple devices. The Android app can be downloaded from the Neds website as the Google Play Store does not allow gambling applications (as of October 2017).

It’s a six-step process but Neds have outlined exactly how to install the app on the mobile download page. We reviewed the mobile app on an iPhone and we found the app easy to navigate. The homepage provides quick links to important sections, next to jump in racing and upcoming or live sports. The top left section provides

The top left section provides the main menu of handy links, such as the Multi Builder. While in the right section, you’ll find the bet slip and login/join now links (if you’re not signed up yet).

Deposit Options

At Neds, they provide four deposit options and this includes:

  • Credit Card
  • POLi
  • Bank Transfer
  • BPay

The minimum amount for a Credit Card deposit is $10 and the funds hit your account instantly. POLi is similar as it provides instant betting funds. Whereas the Bank Transfer and BPay options will take longer to process. In the end, the Credit Card option is a very quick process and we would recommend it.

Withdraw Options

Much like all Australian bookmakers, your Neds account must be verified before a withdrawal of funds can be processed. You will need to supply either a Drivers License, Birth Certificate or Medicare Card. It’s a really simple process and should only take 1-2 minutes. Once the account is verified, the funds can be withdrawn.

In terms of customer support, Neds are available from 8am to 8pm via phone call. While for live betting, the hours are longer at 7am to 11pm. They also have a live chat option or you can send through a contact form message. They also have a help section which is handy for finding an answer before contacting the support team.

Responsible Gambling

Neds comply with Responsible Gambling practices as they provide options for limiting your betting. They have two options for setting limits and this includes Deposit and Betting. The deposit limit can last up to 28 days and must be $5 or more. The betting amount limit must be over $1 and the limit period is also 28 days.

4.6 Summary

With the former founder of and CEO of Ladbrokes on board, Dean Shannon, you can expect a similar betting experience at Neds.
They’re new in the Australian market but already provide unique betting features. We would recommend Neds for betting on racing as they offer more racing features at the time of this review. But the betting promotions are fairly even between sports and racing.
They also have competitive odds for the favourite and underdog in most sporting events in this review. So in the end, we would definitely recommend Neds for both beginner and seasoned punters. As they say at Neds – It’s time to bet!
